Sometimes ya just feel like wearing a lotta necklaces ya know?... But really, I forget about my cool jewelry, and then I remember that I have cool pieces. And then I wear it all at once.
I bought this jacket at Zara, and it's one of my current favorite pieces. It's beautiful and it coordinates with just about everything!
These shoes were a recent Goodwill find. They are so wonderfully tacky and hilarious; I couldn't pass them up. I love how they coordinate with this outfit.
Forever 21 Pants, band tee shirt I borrowed from Jane, embroidered baseball jacket from Zara, one of my handmade headbands, blue lipstick from My Beauty Addiction on Etsy, vintage necklaces/ mixed with Anthropologie jewelry

Jump from Paper

When Jump from Paper offered to send me a bag a few weeks back, I was ecstatic! Jump from Paper sells the cutest cartoonish handbags. Many of their most recent designs, such as the "Alice" handbag I'm carrying, are retro-inspired. I styled my outfit to coordinate the with the styling and attitude of the bag. Jump from Paper, keep doing what you're doing, because your bags are amazing!

I love how the bag photographs... It looks straight out of a comic book!
This dress is a Goodwill find from a while back. I altered the shape of the sleeves to make the dress more contemporary, but I kept the rest of the dress in tact. It's perfect to wear when I'm feeling 50s vibes.

Well Suited

I found this suit at Zara in Chicago, and it's my new favorite outfit to wear. I'd been looking for a suit in a funky print for a while, and this one is just about perfect!
I wore the suit with this crying tiger tee I bought at a local boutique in Providence, Rhode Island last summer. The graphic is adorable and pitiful and aesthetically pleasing all at once.
Wearing a Zara earcuff
This fortune fish cuff is from the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in Chicago. So quirky and adorable!

Last week, I went to Chicago for a few days. I had a great time exploring the city, shopping, and visiting museums. Here are some photos taken during the trip!
I love this Frida Kahlo/ Hello Kitty street art in Wicker Park! Two of my favorite things!
Chicago was quite chilly compared to the steamy Nashville weather, and I didn't do a very good job with my packing. I wore this sequined sweater a lot during the trip to keep warm, and I picked up these Zara tights to make up for the lack of pants in my suitcase. My skirt is from Target, my sweater is thrifted from Goodwill, and my bag is Kreepsville 666 from Search & Destroy in NYC.
While in Wicker Park, I met up with blogger, Meagan, of Latter Style. She was kind enough to show me around the area. We had fun visiting bookstores and vintage shops.
Meagan has a very cool, refined sense of style. Check out her blog!
On the street, across from the Art Institute of Chicago
I loved seeing this installation by Felix Gonzales-Torres at the Art Institute. I've read about it in my art history texts; it was awesome to see it in person!
I have sooo many pairs of sunglasses (thanks to the awesome people at Giant Vintage), but sure enough, I forgot to bring sunglasses with me on my trip. I ended up buying these super-cute heart sunnies at Akira Accessories.
