Go team.

This lacrosse pinnie is from the Brown University book store. I bought it as a joke, because I'm pretty much the most un-athletic person in the history of un-athletes. It's fun to dress it up with random, funky garments and accessories.
These glasses are hand-me-downs from my dad, and these earrings are hand-me-downs from my mom. Fashion runs in the family, I suppose.
Also, I found faux leather pants at Target the other day.. polyurethane pants, to be exact. I really love wearing them.. they add just the right amount of hardcore sass to my lacrosse pinnie.
In addition to my polyurethane pants, I found this bag on super duper sale at Target the other day. I'm planning to decorate it with some rhinestones or googly eyes.
At first, I was sad when my flatform sneakers began to scuff around the toe, but I've grown to love their perfectly imperfect nature. The scuffs give them more character.
Also, my sock cuffs! My latest D.I.Y. creation! I adore them.. I'm planning to make more and list them on my Etsy shop.

In these photos I'm wearing a jacket my friend Ingrid made for a school project. We share it.. she had it for the summer, and it was recently passed onto me. I'm so excited to temporarily have it in my wardrobe. I layered it over a floaty, a-line tank from h&m and some D.I.Y. jeans.
A good friend of mine bought these earrings for me when she was in France this summer... perfect for an evil eye lover like me. Also, gold glitter eyebrows are my new favorite makeup look.
These jeans used to be black.. back in the 8th grade or so. I bleached them out and splattered red dye all over them last year. And then this past summer, I screen-printed a scan of an x-ray of my hand on the fronts of the legs.
Jacket, made by a friend. Jeans, D.I.Y. Guess Jeans. Shirt, h&m. Shoes, Jeffrey Campbell. Bag, Nordstrom. Earrings, vintage. Sunglasses, Betsey Johnson. Necklace, Forever 21. Headband, handmade by me. Lipstick, MAC Cosmetics Paintstick in Cyan.

The Cat's Meow

This jacket is from a second-hand shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. I bought it on a spring break trip last year. I never think to wear it, but it's a lovely jacket. The abstracted cats embroidered all over it are just too much to handle! I've decided to start wearing it more often.
These sunglasses were sent to me from the lovely people at Giant Vintage. The shape is reminiscent of 60's styles, but the thick rims give them a more modern twist. I've been wearing them nearly every day.. love!
I'm wearing a headband I made recently. Similar headbands are listed on my Etsy shop.
I paired the cat jacket with my new favorite jeans: high waisted Cheap Monday denim.
In addition to headbands, I'm about to start selling corsages on my Etsy page. I made a couple last weekend that I'm going to list very soon!

Googly eyes are a girl's best friend.

I bought this skirt at Salvation Army in Providence, Rhode Island this summer. It is, by far, one of my best thrift store finds. It's covered in sequins, and the shape is absolutely too fun! It's a circle skirt, so it's perfect for twirling.
I paired the skirt with a vintage tee shirt from my mom's closet and a Moschino Cheap & Chic cropped jacket from Goodwill (another one of my favorite thrift store finds!). It seems as though this skirt and this jacket were made for one another; the colors coordinate perfectly.
To top it off, I added some studded accessories, my favorite chandelier earrings from Forever 21, and a few googly eyes. A girl can never have too many googly eyes.
The bag I'm currently using is the clutch I bought for prom. The zig-zag pattern seems to go with everything I wear, and it's a great size and shape for school.. just enough room for my wallet, phone, keys, and lipstick.. and it fits in my backpack.
