Mister Bluebird

I sold my first headband on Saturday! The buyer was a woman at Goodwill who offered to buy it straight off my head for $20. I almost declined the offer, but I remembered I had second headband in my car. After the handover, I had to walk around Goodwill with a bare head, but it was well worth the sale. The woman I sold it to seemed so happy to have flowers on her head.
Last night, I attempted to replace this favorite headband of mine with an equally fabulous and wearable piece. Not super wearable, but definitely fabulous! It's my new favorite.I bought the fake bird, nest, and eggs at Michael's craft store a while back; I had been saving them for just the right project. It's only a matter of time before I start selling headbands on Etsy! Stay tuned!

Skirt, altered vintage (originally from Goodwill). Top, T.J. Maxx. Cardigan; Thakoon for Target. Belt, Earrings; Target. Boots; Dolce Vita. Headband; handmade by me. Blue lipstick; MAC Cosmetics.

  2. who takes your pics, they are just beautiful every time.... x

  3. Wow, I'm so excited to hear about the prospects of an Etsy store! And $20 for a headband is a very reasonable price. Please let me know when your store is up and running, and I will be happy to feature it on my blog! Any chance of you posting any headband tutorials? I would love to see one. Btw, that slightly asymmetrical pink and white headband in your previous post is so lovely and romantic. You are fantastic!

  4. Love! And Etsy! <3 These photos are all amazing.
