The cow says "moo".

I picked up this faux fur (if one can refer to a cow as having "fur") coat during my last trip to Goodwill. Immediately, I was drawn to the graphic print and silly stuffed animal texture. I spotted it from a mile away!
Although it's quite a bit large for me, I have grown to love this unique piece over the past couple days. It seems to go with everything in my wardrobe, but I like it best with super-tight jeans and super-tall shoes. This applies to most faux fur jackets, coats, and vests. The voluminous silhouette needs balancing; it looks best with a slim or close fitting bottom, such as a straight-leg jean or a pencil skirt.

Purple Haze

My friend Camille screen-printed this tee shirt for me over the summer, but I’m just now getting around to wearing it. The drawing is just too adorable.
I recently helped my mom clean out some of her old jewelry, and I found several wonderful pairs of clip-on earrings. They’re my new favorite thing! I’ve never really been into earrings. I usually just wear basic studs or my Betsey Johnson beetle earring. I’ve become a dangly earring fanatic. This pair is the most wearable, but my favorite so far is this fantastic pair of giant lucite stars.
In addition to crazy clip-ons, I’ve also been playing around with some crazy new lipstick. I love this purple hue from Covergirl. I also have a light blue color from MAC, but I’m saving it for special occasions. It’s a bit too “Avatar”-ish for everyday wear.

I bought this jacket at Half-off Super Saturday at Goodwill. I was reluctant in purchasing it, but I thought it was worth the risk for $3. I adore it though; I feel so tough whenever I wear it!
I mentioned my handmade headbands briefly in my last post, but I'm seriously thinking about starting an Etsy shop! Any takers?
